Every bottle is hand-packed in temperature-stable, vibration-dampening cases by people who do this every day. Inventory is verified on the way out and on the way in, so nothing is misplaced, mishandled, or unaccounted for.

What's the difference between delivery and moving?

Delivery is pulling wine from your locker and getting it where you need it for use, dinners, gifts, events. Moving is relocating an entire collection from one home, facility, or city to another. Moves are larger, more complex, and require packing, inventory verification, and coordination across multiple parties.

Does Classic handle moves outside of Texas?

Classic handles moves directly within Texas. For relocations beyond the state, we partner with industry leaders, including The Wine Mover, a nationally recognized white-glove operator. Whichever path your move takes, your wine never leaves professional hands.

How is wine prepared for a long-distance move?

Every bottle is hand-packed by people who do this every day. We can verify inventory on the way out, transport in climate-controlled vehicles, and verify again on arrival, so nothing is misplaced, mishandled, or unaccounted for.

Can Classic help with a move into a Classic facility?

Yes, and it's one of the most common scenarios. New members often have collections sitting in basements, closets, kitchen wine fridges, or another storage provider. We coordinate the pickup, transport, and intake, including cataloging the collection as it arrives so you have a clean inventory from day one.

How long does a typical move take?

In-state DFW moves are often completed in a single day. Cross-state moves within Texas may require one to three days depending on distance. Out-of-state relocations through our partners typically take one to three weeks, depending on origin, destination, and the size of the collection.

What if I need to store wine before, during, or after a move?

That's exactly what our four Texas facilities are for. We can hold your collection temporarily between homes, during renovations, or while you're deciding on a permanent location. Storage is flexible, with no long-term commitment required.

How is the collection inventory tracked during a move?

Inventory is verified at pickup and again at delivery. If you're an existing Classic member, your collection is already cataloged in our system. If you're new, we can catalog as part of the move so you finish with a clean digital inventory.

What insurance covers wine during a move?

Classic and our partners carry transit insurance for wine in our care. For high-value collections, members often supplement with their own wine-specific insurance policy. We're happy to discuss coverage options before the move.
